We had a wonderful time for husband's birthday and met a good old friend there. The food was great! Our new sushi home.

Wonderful restaurant. Sushi is extraordinarily fresh. Rolls are creative. Japanese food is equally excellent. You know you're becoming a regular when Mike bellows out a welcome as you walk through the door.

For The L.'s birthday dinner, I offered up Sushi Yasuda, Blue Ribbon, even omasake at Sasabune but no. He wanted to go to Sushi Mike's. Works for me, LOL.
Even though Mike was not there his staff greeted us like long lost friends and even sang happy birthday to my husband much to his embarrassment. They are always gracious. Looks like The L. was right once again... :)))))

I came here last Saturday for a friend's birthday and had a really great dinner. Our party of 6 was sat right near the door and it was great that they put a little curtain around our table to give us some privacy. Our waitress came over very quickly and handed us each a warm towelette to wipe our hands...love it.
We decided to all begin with miso soup, seaweed salad, or a house salad, then ordered a variety of specialty rolls and a chicken dish. I ended up ordering the S & S roll for myself (tuna, avocado, salmon, topped with 5 different kinds of caviar, seaweed salad, tempura crunch, spicy mayo and eel sauce). This roll was AMAZING and I was thrilled to be trying so many different types of caviar. It was so filling and all of the different tastes and textures went together perfectly. If you like to experiment with sushi I would definitely recommend trying this one out. It will make you feel like you're a Top Chef/Sushi connoisseur :) Now if only I could figure out how to use chopsticks...
Still, the sushi was great and if I'm ever in Dobbs Ferry again I'll be sure to return!

Sushi Mike's is the best Japanese restaurant in the Rivertowns. Everything is fresh, delicious and tasty. The rolls are huge! The restaurant is also on a block with sidewalks, surrounded by other shops. So this is a nice place to drop off the kids and let them have dinner out by themselves. A chance to feel grown-up and independently urban in the 'burbs..

What's not to love?? Great sushi, decent prices, and the service has always been excellent. Definitely worth the stop if anywhere near the area (and heading here from the city just for dinner is not the craziest idea in the world, given the quality here).

The first time I saw the name of this sushi restaurant, I thought, "How good could this sushi place be, with a name like Mike's?"
I decided to try it anyway, just to see if the positive reviews were right.
All I have to say is, YUM.
The rolls, the appetizers, the hot sake - all were definitely worth 5 stars. I've been back many times since then.
Keep it up!!

The best sushi on the west side of the county. Walls have painted funky colors and designs. Fish is fresh, innovative and plentifu. Good choice if you like raw fish.

Best sushi in Westchester. We go here alot. Food is always fresh and delicious. Friendly staff. Parking is sometimes a challenge, but usually we find a spot. Highly recommend this place, but definitely make reservations on the weekend.
